Slew drive
Our slew drives are closed units, which means a high degree of reliability, which provides longer durability and lower maintenance costs.
Products > Heavy Duty > Slew drive
Slew drives consist of ball bearings or roller bearings, worm gear and hydraulic/electric motor that can handle heavy rotational loads with very high torque/tilt torque.
We offer:
Our slew drives from IMO are closed units, which means a high degree of reliability against external environmental influences and protects against both damage and lubricant loss, which gives longer durability and lower maintenance costs.
Very quick assembly – bolt, connect, run!
Slew drive series WD is intended for intermittent operation. The torque transmission takes place with a worm screw and worm wheel and is the product on the market that provides the highest torque transmission in relation to its size and weight. Slew drive series WD can be driven hydraulically and electrically.

Thanks to the high ratio in the worm, the WD-L series can transmit high torques despite its small dimensions from 3280 Nm to 446504 Nm.
WD-L can be rated for offshore or marine environment.

With its robust roller bearings, the WD-H offers significantly higher load capacity. The series' cylindrical rollers have a larger contact surface between the inner and outer bearing tracks, which leads to a significantly higher load capacity than other comparable models that use ball bearings.
With its high ratio, the WD-H can transmit torque from 11 Nm to 093 Nm.

Slew drive series SP (Spur Pinion) is intended for continuous operation. In the SP series, the torque transmission takes place with cylindrical gears and they are therefore not self-locking. In some applications, a brake may therefore be necessary.
Slewdrive series SP (Spur Pinion) is intended for continuous operation. In the SP series, the torque transmission takes place with cylindrical gears and they are therefore not self-locking.
In some applications, a brake may therefore be necessary. The SP series can be classified for offshore or marine environments.
The pinion is supported by two radial bearings which are integrated into the motor mount. It uses a single row slewing ring ball bearing with hydraulic or electric drive. With hydraulic motor operation, the SP-I can be driven directly without an intermediate gearbox.
The highest torque is limited by the maximum input torque. Torque from 3 Nm to 500 Nm distributed among nine sizes.

The pinion in the SP-H is supported using the planetary gear bearing.
The maximum torque is limited by the maximum radial force. Torque from 27 Nm to 600 Nm.

Parker's complete range of high and low speed motors provide up to 1695 Nm of torque at speeds from 1/2 to 13 rpm. A full range of sizes is offered as an operating configuration for gears, gerotors, vanes and pistons.
With our balance blocks, you can hang tools, hoses, actuators, etc. so that they "float weightless" and are easy to move when they need to be used.
