All mechanical friction joints are based on the principle of cones sliding against each other. The sliding, and thus the radial expansion, is achieved by means of a number of radial screws.

A simple and affordable dressing for many applications. Shaft diameters from 14 to 400 mm.
A variant of the MAV 1062 but which has a slight axial displacement during assembly. In return, a right transferable moment of comparable dimension.
